My bengal and savannah cat is chirping at birds in the nearby trees outside my home in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

In 2005, researchers in the Amazon recorded a margay making vocalizations similar to those made by tamarin babies. This occurred at the base of a ficus tree housing a group of pied tamarins. The sounds made by the cat attracted the attention of a monkey which climbed down to investigate.
