I just went to the Montgomery Zoo in Alabama last Tuesday with some friends and was not disappointed. They have some really cool creatures, but for me, the highlight was a white Bengal tigress named Shanti. Shanti is an Indian name that means "peace." I just discovered a few days ago that February 1st is her birthday too. In this case, she is now 9 years old!
