Miss DePesto began her life in a Montana shelter in 1987. Though her four siblings had straight coats, she was born with wiry, unruly curls similar to a sheep’s coat. Local Persian breeder, Jeri Newman, of Livingston, Montana, could tell she was special, and quickly adopted the odd little kitten.
