==►Le nom de la race dans la traduction de l'anglais signifie "raquette à neige". Ces chats l'ont eu pour les "chaussettes" blanches sur leurs pattes. La race a été créée dans le chenil siamois aux États-Unis. Actuellement, le standard et la race enregistrés sont enregistrés dans les fédérations de félinologie FIFe, TICA. La race est en petit nombre et distribuée principalement au Royaume-Uni.
