6 weeks old, weaned onto meat & with freedom to roam around my small home the kittens can now climb up onto my bed - which means no respite for mum. Though they no longer need milk from me and are eating kitten complete meals in ever larger quantities, at night the kittens will eagerly seek out mum in her resting place & will all clamber in suckling for comfort rather than for nourishment. Do have your sound on as you watch as you’ll be so surprised by how loud the cacophony of purring is as they snuggle down to (hopefully!) sleep!
