Splendours of Pench National Park #2 | Amazing Tiger Encounter [4K]

In October 2020, we visited Pench National Park near Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. Here’s a video of the Alikatta Campus at Pench Tiger Reserve, presenting the story of Mowgli, the wolf boy of Madhya Pradesh.

Although Rudyard Kipling never visited Pench, his book was inspired by the story of a wolf-boy who lived and existed around Jabalpur in the early 1800s. Legends say that the real Mowgli was not a sweet child, rather a killer and a man-eater who killed more than 30 people around the Village of Sant Bawadi in Madhya Pradesh.

Mowgli was finally captured by the British and he died in jail at Jabalpur in the 1830s.

The campus is surrounded by wild animals including Golden Jackal, Spotted Deer, and even Bengal Tigers. We will also visit the Incubation Centre at Touria Gate of Pench. There is no fee for visiting this center. It is a great place for children and wildlife lovers to learn more about the flora and fauna at Pench Tiger Reserve.
