We are proud to announce the recipients of The Habitats Trust Grants 2021!

Our annual grants initiative was set up in 2018 with the aim of supporting organisations and individuals working to conserve lesser-known species and habitats in India. In the fourth edition this year, the grant amounts were increased with the aim of enabling projects to have more impact on-ground. With this in mind, we congratulate the recipients of The Habitats Trust Grants 2021!

- Strategic Partnership Grant - Nature Conservation Foundation
- Lesser-known Habitats Grant - Bombay Environmental Action Group
- Lesser-known Species Grant - Association for Social and Environmental Development
- Conservation Hero Grant - Ayushi Jain

Our recipients this year work for the conservation of important species like the Fishing Cat and Cantor’s Giant Softshell Turtle; in neglected habitats like the lateritic rocky outcrops, and the fragmented forests of Western Ghats in regions of high human-elephant conflict in Valparai, Tamil Nadu.

We congratulate the recipients, and look forward to supporting their work!
