The Kuril bobtail cat with a short, round, fluffy tail is a unique cat species originating from Russia.
This short tail functions as a "steering wheel", helping them keep balance. Because of this, a cat's hind paws become stronger over time. It is larger and stronger than long-tailed cats.
Predation is an inherited dominant gene of this cat breed, it is friendly to people, especially children. They live about 15 to 20 years, in very good health. They are quite intelligent, curious, and love to play.
Kuril cats are not afraid of water and can do well in cold weather conditions. Bobtails have a similar feature to lions, that is, they do not live alone, but often go in groups.

Mèo cộc đuôi Kuril với chiếc đuôi ngắn ngủn, tròn như cục bông là một loài mèo độc đáo có xuất xứ từ Nga.
Chiếc đuôi ngắn này có chức năng như một chiếc “vô lăng”, giúp chúng giữ thăng bằng . Cũng vìthế nên bàn chân sau của mèo trở nên cứng cáp dần theo thời gian. Nó to và khỏe hơn so với những con mèo đuôi dài.
Săn mồi là gen trội được di truyền của giống mèo này, nó thân thiện với con người, đặc biệt là trẻ em.Chúng sống khoảng 15 đến 20 năm, có sức khỏe rất tốt. Chúng khá thông minh, hay tò mò, thích đùa giỡn.
Mèo Kuril không hề sợ nước và có thể hoạt động tốt trong điều kiện thời tiết lạnh giá. Mèo cộc đuôi có một đặc điểm giống với sư tử, đó là không sống riêng lẻ mà thường đi theo nhóm.
