This Cat-Assisted Flour Tortilla Recipe Will Blow Your Mind! #shorts

Summer is helping make a single homemade flour tortilla for one for a cheese quesadilla. This is delicious for Cinco de Mayo, or any time!

When you are making homemade flour tortillas, they need to be used right away because they are best fresh.

Here is the recipe for a single flour tortilla - it’s simple enough even if you just want to treat yourself.

Ingredients:

1/3 c. AP flour
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. oil
dash salt

Mix all ingredients together with your hands and knead for about 5 minutes or so - until the dough is elastic and pliable. Cover with a damp kitchen or paper towel for ten minutes to let it rest. Roll it out on a floured surface to about 10” in diameter. Cook it in a skillet or on a griddle over high heat. Flip when bubbles form on surface. This should take anywhere from 45 seconds to 1-1/2 minutes each side, depending on how thick you rolled out the tortilla. Use for a burrito or a quesadilla. Either way, it’s delicious!
