Sonny was on the brink of meeting his maker while on the euthanasia list in an animal shelter, but when rescuers learned about this poor kitten who couldn’t use his hind legs, they knew they needed to give him a chance.

Knowing he would need extensive medical care, LTBL scheduled Sonny for the soonest vet appointment to give him the medical care that he rightfully deserves. They were heartbroken to see that Sonny was covered in feces, and small wounds, all signs that pointed to the neglect and abuse he may have faced in his past.

Rescuers are hopeful they will be able to bring this boy toward a road to recovery, but they need your help! We are asking for donations in order to help cover the medical expenses for this sweet boy’s upcoming doctor’s visit.
