Having a deep connection with your cat helps lower down the language barrier. Ex-rescue kitten Ficus talks to me using different variations of meows. Somehow he’s able to tell me what he wants. Most often i give in to his request. Well, who can resist a meowing cat that has the most beautiful pleading eyes on the planet?

On January 3, 2021 we found Ficus hiding underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny, skinny, starving, full of fleas and earmites. We estimated that he was about 3 months old. We brought him to our home in the countryside and he grew up with our doggies Emma & Shirley. Later on we found out that he was a Japanese bobtail. That explains his very playful nature. He’s also highly intelligent and lovable.

Currently Ficus is in the big city where i work. He’s staying in a high rise apartment. Check out his earlier videos from the time he got rescued to the present, in the playlist, “Ficus The Rescue Kitten.”
