Urgent: SEVEN Sickly Kittens Found Living A Nightmare

These 7 little babies have suffered SO much in their short lives, with the odds stacked heavily against them. And sadly, much of it is due to the human meant to protect them. They are all products of extremely unethical breeding, brought into this world at the hands of a greed-driven human.

What these animals were forced to suffer through is absolutely unfathomable, and though our funds are extremely limited right now, for obvious reasons, we knew we could not turn away. Each of these kittens deserved a chance—a chance that each and every one of them had been fighting SO hard to get. So, last week we drove down to OFFICIALLY welcome all SEVEN of these sickly kittens into the HDAC family!

In addition to a slew of other, separate medical issues, 3 of the 7 are dealing with horrible cherry eyes that now require surgery: Poor baby Churro is suffering a severe URI and is extremely underweight. He basically refuses to take his medication as he, along with his siblings, is not used to being handled. Sweet little Lindie has two severely infected eyes (on top of the cherry eye that needs surgery). Our hairless kitty, Pre, has developed some severe skin issues due to neglect and poor breeding, that also need to be addressed. And poor Tiny (*one of the babies without cherry eyes) is sick as can be-- needing to be supervised round-the-clock by 1 of our 2 experienced neonatal bottle feeders.

While undeniably daunting, maybe even seemingly impossible, we firmly believe that this is a cause that is WELL worth it. Because saving these lives – saving even one life – is worth it. Now they are here, they are safe, and they are each receiving immediate, aggressive treatments to fix and heal what human greed robbed them of. But tending to the emotional and physical recoveries of 7 sickly lives is no easy feat and this is going to be an "all-paws-on-deck" kind of situation.
