Ear cropping. A historical procedure dating back thousands of years. Yet I see so many people calling for it's ban without even knowing it causes very little harm to dogs. Same deal with Tail docking.
A lot of people assume it's cruel and only for cosmetic reasons. A lot of people give into the lies of Animal Rights Activists who seek to not just ban procedures like those, but also who seek to ban pet ownership entirely. A lot of people just don't bother to seek out what is true and what is a myth...
