Short Pippin update:
Last night was seriously traumatic, for both myself and the cat ????. He was scared and traumatised from the vet, and very panicked.
He ran away from me whenever i got close, so I left him for a few hours to calm down and get used to his home again.
It was quickly evident that ever movement hurt him as he yelped with severe pain, whenever he tried to move. I cannot erase the sound of his howls of pain from my mind, they were totally horrifying .
Pippin was in a lot of pain and I spent 1.5 hours trying to get his two pain medicines into him, so that he would feel better. He’s usually great at taking tablets, but last night his lack of interest in food made the situation challenging.
Added to this Pippin urinated all over the floor where he lay, and made no attempt to move or clean himself. He then pooped over the floor too ????.
We await a CT scan, and expect surgery to be required as the vet thinks his unusual bone growth is now pushing on his nerves when he moves.
