Young Grayson grew the longest and wildest ragdoll coat! It was so soft like nothing you've felt on a cat before! Unfortunately underneath all the beautiful long fur, he got horrible mats. We tried everything we could to shave, clip, brush, pick the knots out but he wanted to rip every inch of our skin off in the process! LOL! Finally, when the warm weather came, we had to make the decision to get him a lion cut at the groomer. Of course, he had to be sedate which I did not like. He is now starting to get a new winter coat and his fur is growing in more blue. We have vowed to brush him more to maintain this coat regardless of how long it becomes!
