Yaas Cyclone Update:
Today 26th May 2021, The effects of Yaas (A very severe cyclonic storm with a wind speed of 120-165 kmph gusting up to 185 kmph) has left some coastal faces of Odisha and West Bengal in ruins.
The tidal surge has flooded many villages and many embankments broke down unable to resist the huge inflow of sea water.
Most of the farmlands in the vicinity have been devastated. People are rescued to higher lands.
