Zeus - 6 year old German Shepherd - Happy Graduation!

When Zeus's owners contacted Dogs In Bloom they had this to say:

"Zeus is loving dog who frankly just wants to cuddle and play with you. But his large size and breed does frighten people who don’t know him. He jumps on people, is very anxious dog, is very vocal, and desires constant attention. We have tried to redirect his attention and energy through walks, place, etc. but he still struggles."

"1: barking when people come in house and when noise occurs
2: digging in yard - dirt and bring rocks

3: crying in the car
4: needs to play all the time or will bark
5; jumps at people when introduce
6: doesn’t allow people to come to house - barks at them
7: wants to eat when we eat - food
8: barks at other dogs while other dogs are out while walking
9: when I am on the phone - and when it is silently rings - he barks."


Sweet handsome Zeus was acquired as a pup by the current owners son who had him for a year then transferred him to the parents who have owned Zeus for the last 5 years.

They love Zeus but were never taught how to help him live his best life.

Zeus's aforementioned "anxiety" & mischievous behavior was never because he was a bad dog. It was simply because he was never taught in a way that made sense to him. He was also not given enough structure and boundries.

Helping beautiful Zeus get into a regimented schedule of productive playtime, learn all that amazing obedience which he was STARVING for was key to his success. He's literally one of the most intelligent, kind and forward thinking dogs I have ever worked with.

Now his owners will have the education to help this wonderful dog so that they can all live a happier more balanced life together ???? ????
