A lioness follows the path of a male mountain lion in the Angeles National Forest. On October 7, 2021, at the crack of dawn, a male lion traveled through the canyon, passing by five cameras, in the span of a few miles. Four hours later, a female lion passed by the same cameras, heading in the same direction and noticing the male’s scrapes along the way. There’s a chance these two will eventually meet up for a courtship, if they haven’t already. There’s even a chance they already hooked up and we are seeing them after the fact. Either way it’s very interesting to see two apex predators in the same canyon, only hours apart. The story continues.
