Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 5mm)
Button (I used 30mm resin button - large button recommended to reduce any choking hazard)
Darning needle (and needle for sewing on button)
Scissors
Measuring tape

Slip knot onto hook
Making a chain
Half double crochet (HDC)
Half double crochet in back loop only (HDC BLO)
Single crochet (SC)
Double crochet (DC)
Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
Working into the 3rd loop of a chain (optional)
Invisible finishing stitch (optional - demonstrated in video)
Securely sewing on a button
Weaving in ends
Simple calculations

Fully customisable to your cat's neck circumference.

General guide to cat neck sizes:
• Small: 19-22cm – small, fine and hairless breeds e.g. Burmese, Siamese, Abyssinian, Balinese, Cornish and Devon Rex, Singapura etc.
• Medium: 23-28cm – for average-sized cats e.g. European, Domestic Shorthair, Tabbies, Scottish Fold, Persian, Manx, Bengal etc.
• Large: 29-33cm for bigger cats and larger or long-haired breeds e.g. Maine Coon, British Shorthair, Ragdoll, Savannah, Siberian, orange Tabbies etc.

**IMPORTANT: These neckwarmers are intended to be stylish and fun for you and your cat. For their safety, please supervise your cat at all times while they are wearing this neckwarmer or any other item that secures around the neck. Please consider whether your button could pose a choking hazard.**
