These incredible videos show how a hero dog waited for at least six hours for help for his friend who had been hit by a car.

Samantha Zimmer, a 36-year-old accountant from Houston, Texas, saw a Facebook plea from a local mail carrier who had spotted the dogs at 11am but was unable to get them help.

She decided to find Corey and Matthew, who was badly injured, with her fiance, George Dix, by driving around the area described on the Facebook post and looking out for the helpless dogs.
