Follow the journey of a female and male Eastern Bluebird in Virginia. This is their SECOND nest in our birdhouse (as of May 13th, 2022) and this is their second clutch this season! They had 4 beautiful babies that fledged from the nest on May 2nd, 2022. Watch our old videos to see all the milestones we captured!

Second Clutch:
First Egg Laid: May 19th, 2022
Second Egg Laid: May 20th, 2022
Third Egg Laid: May 21st, 2022
Fourth Egg Laid: May 22nd, 2022

Three of the eggs hatched on June 4th, 2022. The fourth egg never hatched. They should fledge on or around June 20th!

The box was installed in February of 2022. A male bluebird began house hunting and went into our bird box for the first time on February 23rd, 2022. On March 1st, 2022, a female bluebird entered the box for the first time.
