Follow the journey of a female and male Eastern Bluebird in Virginia. They had 3 broods in 2022 and 8 beautiful baby birds successfully fledged from the 3 nests made last year. It has been an incredible journey and we are excited to have you follow along for the 2023 nesting season!

The female and male still visit the birdhouse regularly. We are excited to see them start building their first nest of the 2023 season soon. Last year they started building their first nest on March 7th, 2022.

How it started:
The box was installed in February of 2022. A male Bluebird began house hunting and went into our birdhouse for the first time on February 23rd, 2022. On March 1st, 2022, a female Bluebird entered the box for the first time! Watch our videos from 2022 for a recap of all the highs & lows from last season.
