Jamie came to the shelter after she and many other cats were found housed in the back of a U-Haul. She has been at the shelter since November and has undergone several treatment plans to make her the strong girl you see today. She has exhibited some limited mobility jumping up on thing but x-rays have not shown any obvious cause for this. Further conversations with your veterinarian once she is settled is recommended. Jamie is playful but nervous girl. She avoids humans and will need a patient adopter who doesn't expect to much from her as this may or may not change with time . It takes her a bit to warm up to being around new people and new surroundings, a feliway diffuser would help with her transition. She has spent more time with other cats than she has people and would thrive best in a home with another cat. With out the companionship of another cat she will likely exhibit unwanted behavior issues such as excessive vocalization, become destructive or depressed. Sadly she have never been a pet cat and has lived her live confined. An entire house is going to see foreign to them, starting out in one room for 3-4 weeks is recommended to help build trust and to encourage good bathroom habits.
