This is part 4 of our Eastern Bluebird series.  This video contains footage from both outside and inside the nestbox.  In this video, a carpenter bee enters the bluebird nestbox and hides just prior to the bluebirds arriving.  The female bluebird makes a terrified exit from the nestbox when she realizes that the bee is there.  Hopefully the spooked bluebirds won't abandon the nest after this encounter.  I was hoping the female bluebird would lay her first egg this day, and instead I got this.  There are always surprises and the possibility of dangers that await in nature.

This video was captured April 5, 2021, on the Ring Spotlight Cam, which is installed directly over the nestbox https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0758L64L9/ and on the Ring Peephole Cam (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TMK7PH7) that I installed through the ceiling of the nestbox.
