Eastern Bluebird NestBox Cam - Adding Feathers

This is part 3 in our Eastern Bluebird series. In this video the female brings in feathers to add to the nest that she is building.  She brought in the feathers during the early evening of the 6th day since she started actively building the nest.  Evening trips while building the nest are unusual, and it is the second time she has done this.  Usually the nests takes 6 days to build, so hopefully the egg laying will begin soon.

This video was captured April 4, 2021, using the Ring Peephole Cam (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TMK7PH7) that I installed through the ceiling of the nestbox.

Although this video is in color, it was recorded using the available light in the nestbox, so the quality isn't great. When it records in black and white using night vision the quality is better.

About Jericho & Thunder:

Jericho was born in 2007 and was adopted from the Humane Society on September 28, 2007, as an 8-week-old kitten. She is either a Korat or a Russian Blue.

Thunder was born in 2009 and was adopted from an animal rescue shelter on July 21, 2017, as an 8-year-old senior cat. He is a Maltese cat, which means he is a gray/blue cat whose breed is unknown. Thunder is FIV+ and in the early stages of kidney failure.
