How much do cats sleep? They can sleep anything from 10 to 20 hours per day but on the day we filmed Mona, she seemed to sleep a lot less.

The amount a cat sleeps in 24 hours varies from day-to-day. Their sleep requirements change with age and lifestyle. The weather and temperature affect how lethargic a cat is as does its general health on any given day.

Our Maine Coon, Mona, sleeps much longer on some days than others. The day we filmed this video, she decided to be extra-active and less sleepy – as you will see. That’s why this video is not just about how much cats sleep but also shows what cats do all day.
