Nuppu is on the nest at 13.55 looking around warily when she suddenly flies off the nest. She returns with her mate Ahti right behind her but unfortunately tramples her chick as she lands. Both parents go into full alarm mode and Ahti mantles at the unseen intruder who judging by their reactions must be very close by. Probably a female intruder Osprey.

The chick is unharmed and is protected by his mother, sheltering beneath her until she and Ahti leave again to deal with the still unseen intruder. Nuppu returns after a few moments and settles down to brood her chick, the only survivor from a clutch of three after extreme weather caused the deaths of the other two chicks (https://youtu.be/MXksUu_iFpU).
